This one day course is designed for anyone with little or no experience of massage who would like to be able to give friends and family a basic treatment to reduce back tension. Course includes learning basic massage
strokes and techniques drawing on Swedish massage, Indian head massage and Oriental face massage. Wear loose comfortable clothing.

Reiki
Reiki is a simple Japanese energy balancing technique and spiritual system that can be used for your own self healing and spiritual development.
Reiki can also be used as a way of treating other people, since the energy that you work with can be channelled into other people. Reiki is taught at three different levels: First degree, Second degree and Master level.
Reiki Level 1: First degree introduces you to working with and experiencing energy. You will learn how to work on yourself so that you can develop your ability as a channel and balance your own energy system over time. You will also discover how to pass on the benefits of Reiki to others, using this simple treatment system.
Cost £75.00
Reiki Level 2: Second degree is taken a few months after first degree, providing an opportunity to work on yourself and get the hang of the basics before moving on. You will learn some symbols that you can use to enhance your treatments and how to carry out distant healing.

Introduction to Indian Head Massage
Indian head massage is based on the ayurvedic system of healing and has been practiced in India for over a thousand years. It is a form of seated massage that focuses on releasing the stress that has accumulated in the tissues, muscles and joints of the face, neck and shoulders. This one day course is designed for anyone with little or no experience, and you will then be able to use these techniques on friends and family to reduce shoulder and neck tension. Wear loose comfortable clothing.

i have just seen your ad on the netmums site, i have been wanting to learn reiki for a while. where are the courses held? how many people per group do you teach? also how would i go about booking? would it be payment in full or a deposit?

The courses are held at the Isbourne Holistic Centre in Cheltenham normaly there are about 4 people on each course but we can also teach on a one to one basis if you would prefer. To book onto a course please ring ethier the Isbourne on 01242 254321 or Libby on 01242 703372 You can pay in full on the day if you like or pay a small deposit at the time of booking.
